Personal Productivity – Manipulating Your Mind for Maximum Success
We are constantly reminding our clients that; “The Greatest Limitations Are Self-Imposed”. Most of the time, our success is limited by what we “Think” we can achieve. It’s been said, “If you believe it, you can achieve it”. Conversely, if you think you can’t do something, it will be nearly impossible to achieve. You see, our minds don’t allow us to be liars. Your mind will do everything it can to prove out what you believe. This doesn’t mean if you think you’re going to win, you’ll always win, but it does mean if you think you’ll win, you’re putting yourself in the best possible frame of mind to win. Let’s look at two different examples: If you’re sure you can get a seller to accept an offer, most likely they will, because you’ll be most likely to take all of the right steps. If however, you say to yourself; “My seller will never accept this offer”, you’re likely to take all of the wrong steps because your mind will be doing everything it can to prove you’re right.
Life is measured in “Inches, not miles”, so even little things can mean the difference between great success and mediocrity. Most people don’t recognize the power of their subconscious. If you consider that most of us only use 10% of our brains, which is our Conscious Mind, it means that 90% of the power of our brains is being controlled by our subconscious mind. The conscious mind uses all five of our senses to interpret information and define how we perceive reality. Unfortunately, our conscious mind only processes one item at a time. The billions of bits of data are then collected and stored in our subconscious mind. Experts believe that the information stored in our subconscious mind is greater than all of the libraries in the entire world.
If you want to remove your limitations, it’s important to harness the power of your subconscious mind. Only 10% of your brain holds all of the thoughts in your mind, so you must use that limited capacity wisely. When a new thought or belief enters the conscious section of your brain, it displaces the other beliefs in your mind. If you constantly think of negative thoughts, your conscious mind will become all negative. But, if all your thoughts revolve around success, you’ll most likely be successful. You should practice positive thinking, (commonly referred to as using affirmations) over and over again until they become a habit.
Your subconscious mind accepts whatever ideas you feed it. Feed your mind the right ideas and your mind will lead you to the ways and means of manifesting those good ideas in your life.
