The Most Important Reason to Buy
Quality of Life Trumps Money Every Time
For the past several years, Buyers have been conditioned to only consider price in the purchase of their home. Daily media reports have focused on the drop in home prices and how important it is not to overpay.
As prices stabilize, it’s a good time for all buyers to realize that we buy a home because of the emotional benefits of owning and the impact it has on our quality of life. Price should always be secondary; every buyer should answer this question: “ If I were to buy today what would it mean to me?”
A common expression in economics circles is “Americans know the price of everything and the value of nothing”. Don’t get caught in the money trap. Remember, we work hard all of our lives expressly so that we can have a high quality of life. Buyers should buy a house for the happiness it brings, not just for the deal.
